Privacy policy
Last updated: September 14, 2026
This policy explains what PGS Urgent Care, PLLC collects when you visit pgsurgentcare.com, and what we do with it. It covers this website only.
What we collect
What you give us. If you join our opening announcement list, we collect your email address, and your first name and preferred language if you choose to give them. If you also choose to receive text messages, we collect your mobile number. That is all the form asks for.
What is collected automatically. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site. It records which pages you viewed, roughly where you are (city level, from your internet address), what kind of device and browser you used, and which site or search sent you here. We have turned on internet-address anonymization, and we have turned off Google’s advertising and cross-site features.
What we do not collect
We never ask for health information on this website, and you should never send us any. Do not describe symptoms, conditions, medications, or anything about your care in a form on this site, by email, or in a social media message. There is no appointment booking on this site and no patient portal. We are a walk-in clinic — if you need care, come in during our hours, and if it is an emergency, call 911.
How we use what we collect
We use your email address to tell you when we open and, later, when we add new hours or services. We use the website statistics to decide what to fix or add to the site. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who else sees it
A few service providers handle information on our behalf, under their own terms:
- GitHub hosts this website. Its servers receive your internet address when a page loads, as any web host does.
- Google provides our website statistics, as described above.
- Cloudflare provides the internet address system that points this domain at our website and our email.
- Google Workspace provides our email. Mailchimp stores the announcement list and sends the messages.
None of them is permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
Our Hours and Location page also includes a Google Maps window so you can see where we are. That map is loaded from Google only when you scroll down to it, and at that point Google may set its own cookies and receive your internet address, whether or not you click the map. If you would rather not load it, the same page lists our full address in text, and you can skip the map.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets a cookie to tell repeat visits from new ones, and the Google Maps window on the Hours and Location page may set its own.
We also store one thing directly in your browser: if you switch the site to Spanish or English, we remember that choice so you do not have to switch every visit. It stays on your device, it is not sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings; the site works either way. You can also install Google’s opt-out browser add-on to stop Analytics entirely.
Your choices
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and it works immediately. For text messages, reply STOP. To ask what we have about you, or to have it deleted, write to us using the contact details below and we will take care of it.
Children
This website is meant for parents and other adults arranging care. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will say so on the site.
This is not our patient privacy notice
This page covers the website. How we handle your medical records as a patient is governed by a separate document, our Notice of Privacy Practices, which follows the federal health privacy law known as HIPAA. You will receive it at your first visit, and a copy is available at the clinic.
